O Σταύρος Δαμιανίδης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1974. Ενδιαφέρθηκε από μικρός για τη μουσική και αποφάσισε να ασχοληθεί με τη σύνθεση pop κομματιών στο πιάνο και τη συγγραφή στίχων και ποιημάτων. Σπουδάζοντας στην Αμερική, άρχισε να μαθαίνει μόνος του σαξόφωνο και επιστρέφοντας στην Ελλάδα, έκανε μαθήματα με τον <a href="https://greekjazz.omeka.net/items/show/109">Δημήτρη Βασιλάκη</a> στο σαξόφωνο και αργότερα με το <a href="https://greekjazz.omeka.net/items/show/835">Γιώργο Ψυχογιό</a> στο πιάνο. <br />Το 2003 ίδρυσε την εταιρία Music Artisans με στόχο την προβολή και προώθηση ταλέντων jazz και τη διοργάνωση συναυλιών στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. <br />Χρησιμοποιώντας το όνομα Buoroke Mello κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο του άλμπουμ "Angler΄s Delight" το 2013. Έχει ακόμη εκδώσει μια ποιητική συλλογή.

Stavros Damianidis was born in Athens in 1974. He started being interested in music very early and decided to compose pop songs and write lyrics adn poems. While studying in the USA he began playing the saxophone as a self-taught and after his return to Greece he received saxophone lessons by <a href="https://greekjazz.omeka.net/items/show/109">Dimitri Vassilakis</a> and piano lessons by <a href="https://greekjazz.omeka.net/items/show/835">Yiorgos Psihoyios</a>. <br />In 2003 he founded Music Artisans, aiming to promote jazz talents and to organize concerts in Greece and abroad. Using the name Buoroke Mello he released his first album "Angler΄s Delight" in 2013. <br />He has also published a book with poetry.

Kyriakos Sfetsas was born in Amfilochia in 1945. He was raised in the island of Lefkada where at an early age, he studied music at the Philarmonic Band and the National Conservatory. Then he studied piano at the <a href="https://www.ethnikoodeio.com/">National Conservatory of Athens</a> with Krino Kalomiri and music theory with Michalis Vourtsis. <br />On August 30, 1964, in Lefkada, he accompanied on the piano Maria Callas in her last performance in Greece. After the 1967 dictatorship, he moved to Paris, where he studied with Max Deutsch, while seeking the mentorship and advice of I<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iannis_Xenakis">annis Xenakis</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luigi_Nono">Luigi Nono</a> and <a href="e">Henri Dutilleux</a> . <br />The first public performance of his work took place just after the uprising of May ’68 at the "Latin America Hall" in Paris. After that, his music was often performed and he had his first commissions (by French Radio and TV, the Ars Nova Orchestra and the Dance Group of Vitry) and then several of his works were performed in renowned international contemporary music festivals. <br />In 1974 he released for the first time one of his works on record: Four-channel electro-acoustic music for the Ballet Smog, one of the first pieces written for four-channel tape in the world. In 1975 he returned to Greece. He worked at the Third Programme of the Hellenic Radio and from 1982 to 1994 he served as head of the programme. <br />In 1980 he released the album "Choris Synora" with the Greek Fusion Orchestra. <br />His body of work consists of a large volume of composition (symphonic, choral, ballet and theatre music, chamber, electronic, pieces for solo instruments, pieces in jazz and fusion style, songs on Greek and world poems, music for films) and has been performed in many countries. <br />Since 1999 he lives and works in Lefkada.

Ο Κυριάκος Σφέτσας γεννήθηκε στην Αμφιλοχία το 1945. Μεγάλωσε στην Κεφαλλονιά, όπου από νεαρή ηλικία, σπούδασε μουσική στη φιλαρμονική και στο Εθνικό Ωδείο του νησιού. Στη συνέχεια σπούδασε πιάνο στο <a href="https://www.ethnikoodeio.com/">Εθνικό Ωδείο της Αθήνας</a> μe την Κρινιώ Καλομοίρη και θεωρητικά με τον Μιχάλη Βούρτση. <br />Στις 30 Αυγούστου του 1964 στη Λευκάδα, συνόδευσε στο πιάνο τη Μαρία Κάλλας στην τελευταία της εμφάνιση στην Ελλάδα. Μετά το πραξικόπημα του 1967 εγκαταστάθηκε στο Παρίσι, όπου μελέτησε με τον Max Deutsch, ενώ παράλληλα δεχόταν συμβουλές από τον <a href="https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%99%CE%AC%CE%BD%CE%BD%CE%B7%CF%82_%CE%9E%CE%B5%CE%BD%CE%AC%CE%BA%CE%B7%CF%82">Ιάννη Ξενάκη</a>, τον <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luigi_Nono">Luigi Nono</a> και τον <a href="e">Henri Dutilleux</a>. <br />Η πρώτη δημόσια παρουσίαση έργου του έγινε μετά την εξέγερση του Μάη του '68 στο Latin America Hall στο Παρίσι. Από τότε η μουσική του άρχισε να παίζεται συχνά, ενώ είχε τις πρώτες παραγγελίες (από το Γαλλικό Ραδιόφωνο και την Τηλεόραση, την Ars Nova Orchestra και το χορευτικό συγκρότημα του Vitry) και στη συνέχεια μερικά από τα έργα του παρουσιάστηκαν σε σημαντικά διεθνή φεστιβάλ σύγχρονης μουσικής. <br />Το 1974 κυκλοφόρησε στο Παρίσι για πρώτη φορά έργο του σε δίσκο: Τετρακαναλική Ηλεκτροακουστική μουσική για το μπαλλέτο Smog, ένα από τα πρώτα έργα σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο για τετρακαναλική μαγνητοταινία. <br />Το 1975 επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα. Δούλεψε στο Τρίτο Πρόγραμμα της Ελληνικής Ραδιοφωνίας και από το το 1982 ως το 1994 ήταν διευθυντής του προγράμματος. Το 1980 κυκλοφόρησε το άλμπουμ "Χωρίς Σύνορα" με την Greek Fusion Orchestra. <br />Στο έργο του περιλαμβάνεται σημαντικός αριθμός μουσικών συνθέσεων: συμφωνική, χορωδιακή, μουσική για μπαλλέτο, για θέατρο, μουσική δωματίου, ηλεκτρονική, έργα για σόλο όργανα, συνθέσεις στο ύφος της jazz και fusion, τραγούδια σε ποίηση ελλήνων και ξένων ποιητών, μουσική για τον κινηματογράφο. <br />Από το 1999 ζει και εργάζεται στη Λευκάδα.

Panayota Haloulakou studied at the Ionian University of Corfu and continued her studies at <a href="https://necmusic.edu/">New England Conservatory in Boston</a>, obtaining a Master’s degree. She sings jazz, Greek, and experimental music. Since 2002, she lives in the USA performing with her quartet.<br />She also performs with the pianist <a href="https://greekjazz.omeka.net/items/show/297">Lefteris Kordis</a> (the Penny Muse Band), with Synavlis, a traditional music group and with the acclaimed pianist and composer <a href="https://college.berklee.edu/people/panagiotis-liaropoulos">Panagiotis Liaropoulos</a>, with whom she co-leads the <a href="https://www.grmusicensemble.com/">Greek Music Ensemble</a>. <br />She has collaborated with artists such as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Lacy_(guitarist)">Steve Lacy</a>, <a href="https://www.sheilajordanjazz.com/">Sheila Jordan</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irene_Aebi">Irene Aebi</a> and John Lockwood. She has appeared in major academic venues, concert halls, and festivals in the USA and in Greece. <br />Her first album "Barely Real: Music of Panayota Haloulakou" was recorded in 2006 with her jazz band and features her original experimental music based on the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Jack Kerouac, Steven Crane and others.

Η Παναγιώτα Χαλουλάκου σπούδασε στο Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κέρκυρας και συνέχισε τις σπουδές της με μεταπτυχιακό στο <a href="https://necmusic.edu/">New England Conservatory της Βοστόνης</a>. <br />Τραγουδά τζαζ, ελληνική και πειραματική μουσική.
