Short Biography
Sotiris Ntouvas was born in 1982 and raised in Patras. He started playing the drums at the age of 16 and graduated the Patra's municipality Conservatory.
Later he moved to Rotterdam and continued his studies at Codarts University of Arts where he graduated in 2007. Among his teachers were Ηans van Oosterhout and Ruben van Rompaey. He has attended workshops by Steve Clover, Jeff Ballard, Ed Soph and Kiko Freitas and has collaborated with artists such as Eric Vloeimans, Jasper Blom, Ed Verhoeff, John Ruocco, Angelo Verploegen and more.
In Greece he has a long time collaboration with Thanasis Papakonstantinou and Foivos Delivorias. Also he has performed with many greek jazz groups at venues and festivals in Greece and abroad. He teaches drums at conservatories and music schools.

Ο Σωτήρης Ντούβας γεννήθηκε το 1982 και μεγάλωσε στην Πάτρα. Ξεκίνησε τύμπανα σε ηλικία 16 ετών και αποφοίτησε από το Δημοτικό Ωδείο Πατρών.
Αργότερα μετακόμισε στο Ρότερνταμ της Ολλανδίας όπου και τελείωσε τις σπουδές του στο Codarts University of Arts το 2007 με καθηγητές τους Ηans van Oosterhout και Ruben van Rompaey. Έχει παρακολουθήσει μαθήματα με τους Steve Clover, Jeff Ballard, Ed Soph και Kiko Freitas και έχει συνεργαστεί με μουσικούς όπως οι Eric Vloeimans, Jasper Blom, Ed Verhoeff, John Ruocco, Angelo Verploegen κ.ά.
Στην Ελλάδα, πέραν της πολυετούς συνεργασίας του με τον Θανάση Παπακωνσταντίνου και τον Φοίβο Δεληβοριά, έχει συνεργαστεί με πολλά σχήματα και μουσικούς της εγχώριας τζαζ σκηνής, ενώ είναι και καθηγητής ντραμς σε Ωδεία και Μουσικές Σχολές. Έχει εμφανιστεί σε σημαντικούς συναυλιακούς χώρους και φεστιβάλ σε όλη την Ελλάδα και σε πολλές χώρες της Ευρώπης.
