Short Biography
Antoniou Kleon was born in Sydney, Aystralia. He studied music theory at the Hellenic Cobservatory of Music and Arts and he also took guitar and harmony lessons. At the same time he started playing with many bands as a guitarist and as a singer. He was made known for his own composition at the singing competition of Corfu, organized by Manos Hadjidakis. He has also composed music for the "Musical workshops of the third program" a show of the Greek Ρadio and Television (ERT) organized by the musician Michalis Grigoriou.
He is a member of the group Mode Plagal, one of the most known gorups of the Greek jazz scene, with whom they have released four albums and done many live appearances all over Greece.
He has collaborated with many artists of the Greek scene such as Lena Platonos, Nikos Portokaloglou, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Orfeas Peridis, Dimitris Poulikakos, George Pilali and more.
Ηe has also worked and recorded with artists of the Greek jazz scene, such as Sofia Noiti, Michalis Siganidis and the collective Modified Dog.

O Κλέωνας Αντωνίου γεννήθηκε στο Sydney στην Αυστραλία. Σπούδασε θεωρητικά στο Ελληνικό Ωδείο, καθώς και κιθάρα και αρμονία. Από νεαρή ηλικία συμμετείχε σε διάφορα σχήματα σαν τραγουδιστής και κιθαρίστας. Πρωτοεμφανίστηκε με δική του σύνθεση στους αγώνες τραγουδιού Κέρκυρας του Μάνου Χατζιδάκι. 'Eχει ηχογραφήσει για τα "Μουσικά εργαστήρια του Γ’ προγράμματος", ραδιοφωνική εκπομπή της ελληνικής ραδιοφωνίας τηλεόρασης (ΕΡΤ) με τον Μιχάλη Γρηγορίου.
Είναι μέλος του συγκροτήματος Mode Plagal, ενός από τα πιο γνωστά συγκροτήματα της ελληνικής τζαζ σκηνής, με το οποίο έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερα άλμπουμ και έχουν κάνει πολλές εμφανίσεις σε όλη την Ελλάδα.
Έχει συνεργαστεί με πολλούς μουσικούς και συνθέτες της ελληνικής σκηνής όπως οι Λένα Πλάτωνος, Νίκος Πορτοκάλογλου, Αλκίνοος Ιωαννίδης, Ορφέας Περίδης, Δημήτρης Πουλικάκος, Ζωρζ Πιλαλί, κ.ά.
Στην ελληνική τζαζ σκηνή έχει ακόμα συνεργαστεί δισκογραφικά με καλλιτέχνες, όπως η Σοφία Νοητή, ο Μιχάλης Σιγανίδης και οι Modified Dog.
