Short Biography
Serafeim Tourikas was born in Stockholm, Sweeden, in 1993. Then his family relocated in Greece, where he was raised. He started being involved with music at the age of 11, firstly with classical guitar and music theory. A few years later he started palying the drums and at the age of 15 started attending drums classes.
Listening to recordings he fell in love with jazz and decided to study jazz at Filippos Nakas Conservatory and then at the Athens Conservatory.
Since then he performs at various Athens venues and he often visits New York for further inspiration and studying.

Ο Σεραφείμ Τουρίκας γεννήθηκε στη Στοκχόλμη της Σουηδίας το 1993 και αμέσως μετά η οικογένειά του μετακόμισε στην Ελλάδα, όπου και μεγάλωσε. Ξεκίνησε να ασχολείται με τη μουσική σε ηλικία 11 ετών, με κλασική κιθάρα και θεωρία της μουσικής. Μερικά χρόνια αργότερα ξεκίνησε να παίζει ντραμς και στην ηλικία των 15 ετών, ξεκίνησε να παρακολουθεί μαθήματα ντραμς.
Ακούγοντας διάφορες ηχογραφήσεις, αγάπησε την τζαζ και αποφάσισε να σπουδάσει τζαζ, πρώτα στο Ωδείο Φίλιππος Νάκας και αργότερα στο Ωδείο Αθηνών.
Από τότε, παίζει σε διάφορα μέρη της Αθήνας και συχνά επισκέπτεται τη Νέα Υόρκη για να διευρύνει την έμπνευση και τις γνώσεις του.
