Short Biography
Antonis Arvanitis was born in 1985. From a young age he got interested in music and started learning how to play the bass and the double bass. He is a graduate from the Filippos Nakas and the National Conservatory.
He has played in cultural venues such as at Megaron - the Athens Concert Hall and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Alternative Stage of the National Opera (Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, in additon to the Athens Epidaurus Festival, jazz festivals and theatrical shows.
He has collaborated with some of the greatest musicians of the Greek jazz scene such as Takis Paterelis, Yiotis Samaras, Spyros Panagiotopoulos and others. Apart from jazz music, he has worked in studio and performed on stage with many well-known Greek composers and singers.

Ο Αντώνης Αρβανίτης γεννήθηκε το 1985.Σε μικρή ηλικία ξεκινήσει να ασχολείται με τη μουσική παίζοντας ηλεκτρικό μπάσο και αργότερα κοντραμπάσο. Είναι απόφοιτος του Εθνικού Ωδείου και του Ωδείου Φίλιππος Νάκας.
Έχει εμφανιστεί σε χώρους όπως το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών και Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης, η Εναλλακτική Σκηνή της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής (Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος), το Ίδρυμα Μιχάλης Κακογιάννης επίσης, το Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών - Επιδαύρου και σε πολλά jazz φεστιβάλ και θεατρικές παραγωγές.
Έχει συνεργαστεί με τα σημαντικότερα ονόματα της τζαζ σκηνής όπως οι Τάκης Πατερέλης, Γιώτης Σαμαράς, Σπύρος Παναγιωτόπουλος κ.ά. Εκτός της τζαζ έχει συνεργαστεί με γνωστούς Έλληνες συνθέτες και τραγουδιστές επί σκηνής, αλλά και δισκογραφικά.
