Short Biography
Charis Pantazis started studying the classical double bassat the Zografou city conservatory at the age of 17. He graduated the jazz department of Filippos Nakas conservatory with distinction and in 2015 he started to visit regurarly New York where he attended music lessons and seminars.
He is a founding member of two jazz collectives: the Athens Jazz Syndicate and the Jeepers Creepers Band.
He ha performed in many venues and festivals in Greece and abroad.

Ο Χάρης Πανταζής ξεκίνησε να μελετάει κλασικό κοντραμπάσο στο δημοτικό ωδείο Zωγράφου στα 17 του. Αποφοίτησε από το τζαζ τμήμα του Ωδείου Φίλιππος Νάκας με άριστα και το 2015 άρχισε να ταξιδεύει τακτικά στη Νέα Υόρκη, παρακολουθώντας μαθήματα και σεμινάρια μουσικής.
Είναι ιδρυτικό μέλος σε δύο τζαζ κολεκτίβες της Αθήνας: Athens Jazz Syndicate και Jeepers Creepers Band.
Έχει εμφανιστεί σε πολλούς χώρους και φεστιβάλ εντός κι εκτός Ελλάδας.
