Short Biography
Sotiris Pomonis attended private lessons on electric guitar with Christos Lagos (1986-1988). He is a graduate of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory -Department of electric guitar- Modern Harmony, with professor Costas Baltazanis and a graduate of the Musician Institute of London (G.I.T) -Live Performances playing. He has also attended jazz improvisation seminars at Berklee College.
He has been teaching guitar since 1993. He is a founding member of the band September Code and a member of the gypsy jazz group Gadjo Dilo. He has also appeared with many popular Greek artists.

Ο Σωτήρης Πομώνης παρακολούθησε ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας με τον Χρήστο Λαγό (1986-1988). Είναι απόφοιτος του Ωδείου Φίλιππος Νάκας -Τμήμα ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας- Μοντέρνας Αρμονίας, με καθηγητή τον Κώστα Μπαλταζάνη και πτυχιούχος του Musician Institute of London (G.I.T)-Live Performances playing. Έχει επίσης παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια τζαζ αυτοσχεδιασμού από το Berklee College.
Διδάσκει κιθάρα από το 1993. Eίναι ιδρυτικό μέλος του συγκροτήματος September Code και μέλος του gypsy jazz γκρουπ Gadjo Dilo. Έχει επίσης εμφανιστεί με πολλούς δημοφιλείς Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες.
