Haris Mermigas was born in Athens and graduated from Fillipos Nakas Conservatory with a diploma in acoustic bass. He also attended seminars with Mc Tier, Toshev and Barbier and studied with various musicians and teachers such as Christos Komisopoulos.
Since 1993 he has been a member of the National Symphonic Orchestra of the National Radio and Television. He has also performed with many orchestras such as the National Opera, the Orchestra Chromaton and the Municipality of Athens Orchestra.
In 2010 he became a member of The Wonderfall Quartet and participated in the recording of the band's debut album.

Ο Χάρης Μέρμηγκας γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και αποφοίτησε από το Ωδείο Φίλιππος Νάκας με δίπλωμα στο ακουστικό μπάσο. Έχει επίσης παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρισ με τους Mc Tier, Toshev and Barbier και έχει μελετήσει με διάφορους μουσικούς και δασκάλους όπως ο Χρήστος Κομισόπουλος.
Από το 1993 είναι μέλος της Εθνικής Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας της ΕΡΤ. Έχει ακόμη παίξει με πολλές όρχήστρες όπως η Εθνική Όπερα, η Ορχήστρα των Χρωμάτων και η Ορχήστρα του Δήμου Αθηναίων.
Το 2010 έγινε μέλος του he became a member of Wonderfall Quartet και συμμετείχε στην ηχογράφηση του πρώτου άλμπουμ του γκρουπ.
