As a leader:

Thanos Bekas was born in 1992 in Athens where he grew up. At the age of 15 he started music lessons, through which he discovered his love for the electric bass.
The starting point of his active activity was the band Koolashake, with which he made various appearances in Athens and participated in various music festivals. At the age of 24, he made his appearance on the Greek jazz scene, with his first personal album, "Round House Project" and then continued his recording career with groups such as the Dark Impulse Trio and How Deep How High, which released their first album in 2022.

Ο Θάνος Μπέκας γεννήθηκε το 1992 στην Αθήνα όπου και μεγάλωσε. Σε ηλικία 15 ετών ξεκίνησε μαθήματα μουσικής, μέσα από τα οποία ανακάλυψε την αγάπη του για το ηλεκτρικό μπάσο.
Αφετηρία της ενεργής του δράσης στάθηκε το σχήμα koolashake, με το οποίο πραγματοποίησε διάφορες εμφανίσεις στην Αθήνα και συμμετείχε σε διάφορα μουσικά φεστιβάλ. Σε ηλικία 24 χρόνων έκανε την εμφάνισή του στο χώρο της Ελληνικής τζαζ σκηνης, με τον πρώτο του προσωπικό δίσκο, "Round House Project" και έπειτα συνέχισε τη δισκογραφική του πορεία σχήματα όπως τους Dark Impulse Trio και τους How Deep How High, που κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ το 2022.
