Panagiotis Kostopoulos was born in Patra in 1991. He started to study drums at the age of 13 with Kostas Kondilis and then with Vagelis Goumas and Sotiris Ntouvas. In 2013 he received a scholarship to study at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary music της in New York. Soon he became the drummer of Billy Harper's band "Billy Harper Voices". In NYC he collaborated with Jazzmeia Horn and Charenee Wade.
Returning to Greece in 2015 he started to perform with the top artists of the Greek scene and various groups. He has also collaborated with the Modern Orchestra of ERT and with his quintet he performed at the Onassis Stegi Panorama.
He has also collaborated with the US guitarist Freddie Bryant and the famous vocalist Barbara Luna.

O Παναγιώτης Κωστόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Πάτρα το 1991. Στην ηλικία των 13 ετών άρχισε μαθήματα ντραμς με τον Κώστα Κονδύλη και τα επόμενα χρόνια με τον Βαγγέλη Γκούμα και τον Σωτήρη Ντούβα. Το 2013 έγινε δεκτός στο New School for Jazz and Contemporary music της Νέας Υόρκης με υποτροφία. Πολύ γρήγορα πήρε τη θέση του ντράμερ στην μπάντα του Billy Harper "Billy Harper Voices". Εκεί συνεργάστηκε με την Jazzmeia Horn και την Charenee Wade.
Το 2015 με την άφιξή του στην Ελλάδα άρχισε να συνεργάζεται με τα κορυφαία ονόματα της Ελληνικής τζαζ σκηνής και με διάφορα μουσικά σχήματα. Έχει συνεργαστεί με τη Σύγχρονη Ορχήστρα της ΕΡΤ, ενώ με το Κουιντέτο του εμφανίστηκε στο πανόραμα Τζαζ στη Στέγη Γραμμάτων και Τεχνών στην Αθήνα.
Έχει επίσης συνεργαστεί με τον Αμερικανό κιθαρίστα Freddie Bryant και τη γνωστή τραγουδίστρια Barbara Luna.
