Short Biography
Yiorgos Barberis was born in Athens in 1994. He expressed his interest in music and drums very early. At the age of 9 he started receiving his first lessons by George Polyhronakos and at the age of 19, after living for some years in Karditsa, he settled back in Athens and continued his studies at Lab music education.
Among others he has studied with Dimitris Klonis, Michalis Kapilidis, Kallistratos Drakopoulos and Nikos Sidirokastritis.
He is a member of the Takis Barberis Group, as well as of the Panos Iliou Group and The Burger Project.

Ο Γιώργος Μπαρμπέρης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1994. Από νεαρή ηλικία έδειξε την αγάπη του για την μουσική και τα τύμπανα. Σε ηλικία 9 ετών ξεκίνησε τα πρώτα του μαθήματα με τον Γιώργο Πολυχρονάκο. Στην ηλικία των 19 και μετά από κάποια χρόνια στην Καρδίτσα, επέστρεψε στην Αθήνα και συνέχισε τις σπουδές του στο Lab music education.
Έχει παρακολουθήσει μεταξύ άλλων μαθήματα με τους: Δημήτρη Κλωνή, Μιχάλη Καπηλίδη, Καλλίστρατο Δρακόπουλο και Νίκο Σιδηροκαστρίτη.
Τα τελευταία χρόνια είναι βασικό μέλος του Takis Barberis Group, καθώς και των Panos Iliou Group και The Burger Project.
