Short Biography
Katerina Pipili was born in Athens and studied Fine Arts at the University of Ioannina. At the same time she was studying advanced music theory succeeding a degree in harmony and counterpoint. When she returned to Athens in 2017, she completed her studies in classical piano with a grade of “Excellent” under the supervision of Natalia Michailidou.
She has attended vocal and jazz improvisation seminars with Zac Bradford and Mario Cowings in New York and piano jazz seminars with prominent Greek musicians.
She has performed numerous concerts in Greece and abroad, either as a solo artist or as a band member and has collaborated with many musicians presenting, her own compositions as well as a large repertoire of jazz and blues songs.
She released her first album with the band “Mini and the Moochers”.

Η Κατερίνα Πιπιλή γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και σπούδασε Καλές Τέχνες στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων. Ταυτόχρονα σπούδαζε ανώτερα θεωρητικά της μουσικής και πήρε πτυχίο αρμονίας και αντίστιξης. Όταν επέστρεψε στην Αθήνα το 2017, ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές της στο κλασικό πιάνο με βαθμό «Άριστα» υπό την επίβλεψη της Ναταλίας Μιχαηλίδου.
Έχει παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια φωνητικής και τζαζ αυτοσχεδιασμού με τους Zac Bradford και Mario Cowings στη Νέα Υόρκη και σεμινάρια τζαζ πιάνου με διακεκριμένους Έλληνες μουσικούς.
Έχει πραγματοποιήσει πολλές συναυλίες στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, είτε ως σόλο καλλιτέχνης είτε ως μέλος μπάντας και έχει συνεργαστεί με πολλούς μουσικούς παρουσιάζοντας δικές της συνθέσεις, καθώς και ένα μεγάλο ρεπερτόριο τζαζ και μπλουζ τραγουδιών.
Κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο της άλμπουμ με το συγκρότημα «Mini and the Moochers».
