Short Biography
Grigoris Ntanis studied classical guitar with Dimitris Fampas and jazz guitar with Yiotis Samaras, as well as classical piano at the Hellenic Conservatory. He continued his studies in jazz performance at the New School University in New York and graduated with distinction in 2001.
He has received private lessons by Peter Bernstein, Vic Juris, Paul Bollenback, Jane Ira Bloom, Richie Beirach, Jamie Haddad and Reggie Workman. He also studied at GIT in Los Angeles and among his teachers were Larry Koonse and Ted Greene and the he continued in Paris with the Programme Jazz Professional of I.A.C.P.
He has numerous collaborations in Greece in abroad and also works with his Arrabna Project.
He is the head of guitar department at Lab music education.
He has received private lessons by Peter Bernstein, Vic Juris, Paul Bollenback, Jane Ira Bloom, Richie Beirach, Jamie Haddad and Reggie Workman. He also studied at GIT in Los Angeles and among his teachers were Larry Koonse and Ted Greene and the he continued in Paris with the Programme Jazz Professional of I.A.C.P.

Ο Γρηγόρης Ντάνης σπούδασε κλασική κιθάρα με τον Δημήτρη Φάμπα και jazz κιθάρα με τον Γιώτη Σαμαρά, αλλά και κλασικό πιάνο στο Ελληνικό Ωδείο. Συνέχισε τις σπουδές του στο New School University της Νέας Υόρκης, με κατεύθυνση Jazz Performance, απ’ όπου αποφοίτησε με έπαινο το 2001.
Έχει παρακολουθήσει ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα με τους Peter Bernstein, Vic Juris, Paul Bollenback, Jane Ira Bloom, Richie Beirach, Jamie Haddad και Reggie Workman.
