Short Biography
Vissarion (Aris) Papadopoulos was born in Athens in 1968. He studied piano and harmony at the National Conservatory of Athens and jazz piano next to Pantelis Benetatos and George Kontrafouris. He also had lessons with John Hicks.
In 2004 he formed the Isomorphic Trio with which he experimented with original tunes and compositions. Since then he has shared the scene with artists such as Thanos Hatzianagnostou, Stephanos Chytiris and Nikos Sidirokastritis and performed in the local scene and jazz festivals.
He is also an assistant professor of structural mechanics in the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.
His debut album, entitled "Endeavors" was released in 2017.

O Βησσαρίων (Άρης) Παπαδόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1968. Μελέτησε πιάνο και αρμονία στο Εθνικό Ωδείο Αθηνών και τζαζ πιάνο με τον Παντελή Μπενετάτο και τον Γιώργο Κοντραφούρη. Έκανε επίσης μαθήματα με τον John Hicks.
To 2004 σχημάτισε το Isomorphic Trio, με το οποίο πειραματίστηκε με πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις. Από τότε έχει εμφανιστεί με μουσικούς όπως ο Θάνος Χατζηαναγνώστου, ο Στέφανος Χυτήρης και ο Νίκος Σιδηροκαστρίτης και έχει συμμετοχές στην τοπική σκηνή και σε φεστιβάλ τζαζ.
Είναι επίσης βοηθός καθηγητής δομικής μηχανικής στο τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του ΕΜΠ.
Το πρώτο του άλμπουμ "Endeavors" κυκλοφόρησε το 2017.
