Short Biography
Alexandra Lerta studied acting at the National Theatre School of Greece after finishing her studies and she worked in the theatre for a few years before deciding to make a turn in to jazz music. She started studying singing in 1997 with Lena Giorgali. She also took musical theatre courses in London.
In 2006 she moved to Holland and studied for at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam and then at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. During this period she attended seminars and classes with musicians such as Jocelyn Smith, Bobby McFerrin, David Liebman, Branford Marsalis etc. She completed her Bachelors study in 2011. Since then she has played in many venues and jazz festivals in Greece.
She formed the duo project InDuologue with bass player Vasilis Stefanopoulos and released the album "Blue Skies" in 2013.

Η Αλεξάνδρα Λέρτα σπούδασε ηθοποιία στην Εθνική Σχολή Θεάτρου και αφού ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές της δούλεψε στο θέατρο για μερικά χρόνια, μέχρι που αποφάσισε να στραφεί στη μουσική τζαζ. Άρχισε να μελετά φωνητική το 1997 με τη Λένα Γιωργαλή. Επίσης παρακολούθησε μαθήματα μουσικού θεάτρου στο Λονδίνο.
Το 2006 εγκαταστάθηκε στην Ολλανδία όπου σπούδασε στο Codarts του Ρότερνταμ και στη συνέχεια στο Royal Conservatory της Χάγης. Το διάστημα αυτό παρακολούθησε σεμινάρια και μαθήματα με μουσικούς όπως η Jocelyn Smith, ο Bobby McFerrin, ο David Liebman, ο Branford Marsalis κ.ά. Πήρε πτυχίο το 2011. Από τότε έχει παίξει σε πολλούς χώρους και τζαζ φεστιβάλ στην Ελλάδα.
Μαζί με τον μπασίστα Βασίλη Στεφανόπουλο σχημάτισε το ντουέτο InDuologue, με το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε το άλμπουμ "Blue Skies" το 2013.
