Short Biography
George Dafnos was born in Athens in 1980. Since he was 9 years old he studied clasical music at the National Conservatory and continued his studies at Yiorgos Fakanas Art School until 2001. Then he studied for three more years ath the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and in 2004 he returned to Athens.
He has collaborated with various groups as a session musician while he works with his own projects, such as the Meweathers, Liquid Streets, as well as his trio (with Ntinos Manos on bass and Dimitris Klonis on drums).
With this trio he recorded the album "Simplify" that was released in 2017.
He is also a member of the group Flood, and the trio Continuo.

Ο κιθαρίστας Γιώργος Δάφνος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1980. Σπούδασε κλασική μουσική στο εθνικό ωδείο από 9 χρόνων και συνέχισε τις σπουδές του στο Ωδείο Τέχνης Γ. Φακανάς έως το 2001. Στη συνέχεια σπούδασε για τρία ακόμη χρόνια στο Κονσερβατοριο του Amsterdam. Το 2004 επέστρεψε στην Αθήνα.
Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολυάριθμα σχήματα, είτε σαν session μουσικός, είτε σε δικά του projects, όπως Meweathers, Liquid Streets, καθώς και προσωπικό του τρίο (με τον Ντίνο Μάνο στο κοντραμπάσο και τον Δημήτρη Κλωνή στα ντραμς).
Με το σχήμα αυτό ηχογράφησε το "Simplify" που κυκλοφόρησε το 2017.
Συμμετέχει ακόμη στο συγκρότημα Flood, καθώς και στο Τρίο Continuo.
